OEMs must adapt to the connectivity demands of younger drivers without sacrificing the needs of other market segments.

For Gen Y, there’s an overwhelming desire to be connected to social media, whereas other generations have very different in-vehicle technology demands.

Telematics Update invited a small group of senior execs to dinner, including representatives from Telenor Connexion, Renault, Microsoft, Dolphin, iMetrik and Telit, to talk about how in-car connectivity can be used in different ways to attract different segments – thus enabling total market coverage.
